Lol New Patch Notes (25.10)

In the League of Legends 25.10 Patch Notes, the brand-new game mode Brawl just dropped! So, head over to Bandle City and do your best to keep those minions alive — things are about to get wild.

Also, remember those colorful Chroma icons from the old Mythic Shop bundles? They’re back, now available again in the Mythic Shop pool. Time to grab those if you missed out before!

Hey SEA players! We’ve got some updates just for you — ranked mode got some tweaks thanks to the recent merge, plus a bunch of usual balance changes to keep the gameplay fair and fun.

On the live servers, we’re shaking things up with a big update to AP itemization. We buffed some of the weaker items, nerfed a few of the stronger ones, and adjusted others to make them more appealing to a wider range of players.

Oh, and if you’re a fan of Unsealed Spellbook, you’re gonna love the buffs coming its way. Plus, we dropped a bunch of smaller balance tweaks across various champions to keep things smooth and exciting.

If you want to dig deeper into League, definitely check out the League of Legends Community Wiki — it’s got everything you need!

Stargazer Vex, High Noon Yorick, and Blood Moon Ryze are dropping on May 14th, 2025 at 18:00 UTC. Mark your calendars — these skins are gonna be 🔥!

New Game Mode: Brawl!

New Game Mode: Brawl!
New Game Mode: Brawl!

Say hello to Brawl — our newest, fastest game mode!

The League of Legends 25.10 Patch Notes bring us Brawl, a quick and baffling team fight where five players duke it out over a tiny map. It’s all about smashing each other, pushing minions straight into the enemy base — no towers, no big objectives, just pure, nonstop action. Think of it like ARAM but way more intense — you pick your fave champ, and games wrap up in about 10 minutes.

Here’s how it works:
Each team starts with 250 health. Bring your opponents down to zero and you win.

How do you chip away at their health?

  • Taking down enemy champs hits their team for 5 damage.
  • When the enemy team’s health isn’t super low yet, minion kills also deal 1 damage each.
  • Pushing your minions into the enemy’s Bandle portal deals 1 damage per minion.

There’s a single lane, but don’t get fooled — some cool camps lurk on the side with juicy buffs and gold. Grab those, but don’t slack off or your portal’s gonna get swarmed!

We’re hyped to see you all dive into Brawl. Try it out, have fun, and hit us up with what you think. We’ll be watching your feedback closely, ready to tweak stuff as needed.

See you in Bandle City — may the best team win!

Brawl Activation Schedule — When and Where to Jump In

Here’s the lowdown on when Brawl goes live:

  • EUW, EUN, RU, TR, ME1 servers get it first — May 14th at 8:00 AM Pacific time.
  • Everyone else? You’ll be joining the fun a bit later on May 14th at 11:00 AM Pacific.

Brawl won’t be sticking around forever though — it’ll hang out until patch 25.13 drops on June 24th, 2025. So don’t miss out, jump in and have a blast while it lasts!

SEA Servers LP Gains

Season 2 Update: Tweaking Ranked Climb for SEA Servers

Since we merged the SEA servers earlier this year, we know hitting certain ranks has gotten tougher for some players. Overall, the merge worked out pretty well — it did what we hoped — but not all servers are the same. Different player counts, skill ranges, and all that jazz made climbing a bit rougher for some.

According to the League of Legends 25.10 Patch Notes, after a full ranked season’s worth of data, we made some changes to smooth things out. But honestly? We went a bit too hard on those tweaks. So now, we’re dialing it back a notch.

If you’re on the Singapore server, you should notice better LP gains this patch thanks to these adjustments. Hopefully it feels fairer and more fun to climb again!

Champions

Cho’Gath Update: Tweaks to Balance His Playstyle

We bumped up Cho’Gath’s base attack speed a bit, but toned down his Q damage. On the flip side, his E damage got a boost.

Why? Well, Cho’Gath is crushing it in mid lane right now but could use some love on top. These changes help even out the difference between his Hail of Blades and Grasp builds, while the Q nerf (Rupture) aims to cool down his mid lane dominance a little.

In short — tweaking him so both lanes feel fair and fun.

Base Stats

  • Level 1 Attack Speed: 0.625 ⇒ 0.658

Q – Rupture

  • Damage: 80 / 140 / 200 / 260 / 320 (+ 100% AP) ⇒ 80 / 135 / 190 / 245 / 300 (+ 100% AP)

E – Vorpal Spikes

  • Damage: 20 / 40 / 60 / 80 / 100 (+ 30% AP) (+ 2.5 / 2.75 / 3 / 3.25 / 3.5% (+ 0.5% per Feast stack) of target’s maximum Health) ⇒ 20 / 40 / 60 / 80 / 100 (+ 30% AP) (+ 2.5 / 2.85 / 3.2 / 3.55 / 3.9% (+ 0.5% per Feast stack) of target’s maximum Health)

Kayn Gets a Little Tune-Up
Lately, Kayn’s been performing a bit better than average — and fun fact, Blue and Red Kayn are actually pretty even when it comes to win rates, which is kinda neat! So, we’re hitting both forms with a small, general nerf.
Don’t worry — it won’t mess with Kayn’s already weak early game or change how he feels to play. Just a little nudge to keep things balanced.

Base Stats

  • Health Growth: 109 ⇒ 103

Lulu’s Getting Some New Nerfs — Because She’s Still Too Strong

We’ve nerfed Lulu a bunch already, but guess what? She’s still kinda dominating solo queue. So now we’re trying out some less usual nerfs to bring her down to a spot that feels right for the long haul.

It’s all about making sure she stays fun without being over the top.

Base Stats

  • Armor Growth: 4.9 ⇒ 4.6

R – Wild Growth

  • Cooldown: 100 / 90 / 80 ⇒ 120 / 100 / 80

Support Fiddlesticks is Rising — But He’s a Bit Too Strong

In the League of Legends 25.10 Patch Notes, support Fiddle is getting way more popular than jungle Fiddle lately, and we’re cool with that… mostly. The problem? He’s definitely stronger as a support right now.

So, we’re tweaking things to keep jungle Fiddle about the same while dialing down his power in support. Balance is the name of the game.

Q – Terrify

  • Fear Duration: 1.25 / 1.5 / 1.75 / 2 / 2.25 ⇒ 1.2 / 1.4 / 1.6 / 1.8 / 2
  • Damage: 5 / 6 / 7 / 8 / 9% (+ 2% per 100 AP) of target’s current health ⇒ 4 / 4.5 / 5 / 5.5 / 6% (+ 3% per 100 AP) of target’s current health
  • Empowered Damage: 10 / 12 / 14 / 16 / 18% (+ 4% per 100 AP) of target’s current health ⇒ 8 / 9 / 10 / 11 / 12% (+ 6% per 100 AP) of target’s current health

W – Bountiful Harvest

  • Damage per second: 60 / 90 / 120 / 150 / 180 (+ 35% AP) ⇒ 60 / 90 / 120 / 150 / 180 (+ 40% AP)

Naafiri in the jungle is still a bit too strong — like, the most banned champ in the game kind of strong. So we’re dialing her down a notch this patch.

Don’t worry, we’re mostly leaving Mid Naafiri alone for now. Just trying to keep jungle a bit more balanced.

Passive – We Are More

  • Packmate Monster Damage Multiplier: 155% ⇒ 135%

Senna’s Getting Some Love for Her AD Builds

Senna’s AD setups are popular but honestly, they don’t perform as well as her enchanter builds. We want both to feel just as good, so we’re boosting her AD game by giving her more sustained damage through increased soul crit chance.

Plus, we’re making carry Senna way more viable by pumping up the soul drop rate when she last-hits — that should speed up her power spikes nicely.

To keep things balanced, we’re dialing down one of her AP ratios a bit since these buffs affect all builds a little.

Passive – Absolution

  • Crit chance per 20 stacks: 8% ⇒ 10%
  • Soul drop rate on minion/monster kill: 8.4% ⇒ 14%

Q – Piercing Darkness

  • Heal: 40 / 55 / 70 / 85 / 100 (+ 40% Bonus AD) (+ 60% AP) ⇒ 40 / 55 / 70 / 85 / 100 (+ 40% Bonus AD) (+ 50% AP)

Smolder’s Getting a Boost This Patch

After the last update took away most of Smolder’s stall power in pro play, we think it’s time to give him a little shot in the arm (or wing).

We’re bringing back some of that stack scaling he lost — hopefully making him feel more like himself again without breaking the game.

Passive – Dragon Practice

  • Q damage per stack: .3 ⇒ .4
  • Q burn damage per 100 stacks: 0.4% ⇒ 0.5%
  • E hit damage per stack: .1 ⇒ .12

Vi

Vi’s Jungle Play Needs a Little Shake-Up

Lately Vi’s felt a bit samey in the jungle — mostly just popping off by one-shotting squishies late game with almost no counter-play.

We want to mix things up a bit, adding some variety to how she plays without making her weaker on average. More options, less boring, you know?

Q – Vault Breaker

  • Minimum Damage: 45 / 70 / 95 / 120 / 145 (+ 80% Bonus AD) ⇒ 40 / 60 / 80 / 100 / 120 (+ 60% Bonus AD)
  • Maximum Damage: 90 / 140 / 190 / 240 / 290 (+ 160% Bonus AD) ⇒ 100 / 150 / 200 / 250 / 300 (+ 150% Bonus AD)
  • Cooldown refund when canceled is now more responsive.

E – Relentless Force

  • Fixed a bug where E would crit for +100% total AD instead of the intended +75% total AD.

R – Cease and Desist

  • Mana: 100 / 125 / 150 ⇒ 100
  • Damage: 150 / 275 / 400 (+ 90% Bonus AD) ⇒ 150 / 250 / 350 (+90% Bonus AD)

Xin Zhao’s Getting a Little Armor Trim

Xin’s been pretty strong everywhere — pro play, solo queue, you name it. So, we’re dialing down his armor growth just a bit to make him less of a tank in the late game.

Don’t worry, it won’t feel super different when you play him, just a small tweak to keep things balanced.

Base Stats

  • Armor Growth: 5 ⇒ 4.4

Yuumi’s Healing Might Get a Little Less Reliable

Yuumi’s still crushing it as one of the top enchanters out there. We wanna tone down how easily she can keep her whole team healed during those hectic teamfights.

Just a little nerf to keep things fair and fun for everyone.

R – Final Chapter

  • Base Heal per Hit: 35 / 50 / 65 ⇒ 30 / 40 / 50

Items

Big Changes to AP Items This Patch

We gave AP itemization a good overhaul this patch. The goal? Nerf the overpowered stuff, buff the weaker items, and tweak some gear to attract new types of players.

Here are some highlights:

  • Seraph’s Embrace now feels way better for mana-hungry champs like Cassiopeia and Kassadin — that reliable shield they’ve been wanting.
  • Horizon Focus is getting a wider audience — basically a solid pick for any AP mage who loves haste. If some users still feel weak, we’ll fix that next patch.
  • Hextech Rocketbelt is becoming a go-to aggressive choice, especially for assassins and fighters like Evelynn and Ekko.
  • Cryptbloom is stepping up as a direct competitor to Void Staff, which is cool for those who want options.
  • Overall, burst itemization now wraps up faster, letting assassins hit their power spikes earlier.

So yeah, big moves here to keep AP players excited and balanced.

Runes

Unsealed Spellbook’s Making a Comeback — With a Twist

The coolest thing about it? Swapping between lots of different summoner spells.

So this patch, we’re trying something new — a version where you get to switch spells way more often. Should make it way more fun and flexible.

  • Base recharge cooldown: 5 minutes ⇒ 4 minutes
  • Recharge cooldown at maximum swaps: 2.5 minutes ⇒ 1.5 minutes

Mythic Shop Content Update

Mythic Shop Just Got a Whole Lot Bigger

This patch, we’re adding a bunch of new icons to the daily Mythic Shop — bringing the total to 457 items that can pop up every day! These new icons used to come only with chroma bundles, but now you can grab them for just 5 ME each.

That means you’ll see fresh, cool stuff way more often when you check the shop.

As always, we’re watching how you all feel about the shop and will keep tweaking and adding more goodies down the road.

Bugfixes & QoL Changes

QoL Changes

Social Hub Gets Some Behind-the-Scenes TLC

Quick note from the League of Legends 25.10 patch notes — we’ve done some behind-the-scenes work on the social hub and friend’s list this patch to set things up for some really cool stuff coming later. Heads up though — this might cause a few bugs to pop up, but no worries, we’re already watching and will fix things as they come.

Irelia’s W Got a Small Fix

Her W now pauses the passive timer instead of letting it tick down to half a second and freeze there. If you hit W when your passive cooldown is under 1 second, it’ll jump up to 1 second once you let go. Also squashed a rare bug where W didn’t refresh passive stacks after hitting an enemy.

Elise’s Human W Makes Spiderlings Smarter

Elise’s spiderlings will now start hunting for targets right after casting W, instead of wandering to the cast location first. Faster hunting = happier spiders.

Death Screen UI Gets a Drag Upgrade

You can now drag around the Death Screen spectator UI anywhere on your screen — just like the Death Recap. Convenience for the win!

Bugfixes

Fixed a weird bug where players could sell their recalls. Yeah… shopkeepers had no clue what to do with those.

Mordekaiser’s Q was acting up after Flash or displacement — casting toward the mouse instead of where he’s facing. We thought we fixed this before, but nope, squashing it for real this time.

Practice Tool bugs got some love:

  • Resetting the game after Atakhan spawned was breaking the river dot brush — fixed.
  • Minion buffs based on team advantage weren’t resetting after Reset Game — fixed too.
  • Holding multiple F-keys now correctly keeps the camera on the first ally key pressed instead of snapping back to your champion.
  • Tooltip cooldowns for Zac, Gangplank, and Nocturne’s passives are now working right.
  • Baron buff + Symbiotic Soles combo no longer grants infinite Empowered Recalls — no more exploits!
  • Rift Herald won’t get stuck without a second charge after destroying an inhibitor anymore.
  • Ashe’s E visual effects won’t disappear randomly when the player’s sight moves away.
  • Elise’s E won’t reveal wards near the target anymore.
  • Mel’s Passive now correctly stacks on Mundo even when his passive is active.
  • Scryer’s Bloom will finally reveal Voidgrubs properly.
  • Final Boss Veigar’s gold from minion kills won’t spam over his head now.
  • Sylas hijacking Olaf’s R will properly convert it to AP.
  • Nocturne’s E passive triggers correctly when moving toward feared enemies.
  • Yorick’s Mist Walker damage to jungle monsters is now consistent.
  • LeBlanc casting W and RW quickly no longer bugs out damage on RW.
  • Some Hwei spells won’t get blocked by minions anymore.
  • Aurora’s Q recast and E now properly trigger Horizon Focus.

Skin Updates

Quick Heads-Up About Black Rose Masquerade Skins

We don’t usually drop PBE news in patch notes, but this time it’s worth mentioning. In patch 25.11, the Black Rose Masquerade skins for Elise, Vladimir, Samira, and Renata Glasc are getting some sweet updates.

If you already own these skins, no worries — you don’t need to do anything.

Hey, just a heads-up from the League of Legends 25.10 patch notes — we actually paused some skins that were supposed to drop soon so we could go back and give the Black Rose skins a little extra love. We’re talking better models, sharper textures, and cooler VFX… gotta make them shine right.

Look out for those refreshed skins coming your way next patch!
